Indira Group of Institutes has a placement cell headed by a Director – Corporate Relations. The cell is a hub which aims to provide suitable career and training guidance to students according to their interests and capability. The cell aligns the competency of students with the career options available to them with the industry to enable a smooth transition into the real world. The institute aims in assisting students for summers as well as final placements by arranging campus interviews for recruitments in corporate houses and to all public sectors, private sectors MNC’s. The Emphasis also laid on summer internship n final placements beyond national border.
PGDM Program recorded an upbeat placement season in 2017-19* Hundred percent placements were recorded for place able students who opted for campus Recruitment.

In the corporate world of today, companies look for Management Graduates with an open adaptable mindset, comfortable with technology, analytically strong, confident and smart personalities above the traditional tools and skills in Management. At Indira we look at a very practical approach to Management Education, which is implemented through various initiatives such as Career Development Activities, Industrial Visits, Seminars and Workshops, GD and PI training, Foreign Industrial Tour etc, striving to create a generation of Business Management Professionals.
The Indira Placement process comprises of:
- Summer Internship Program (2 months after Sem II )
- Final Placements ( starts in Sem III )
The Final placement process at Indira starts in Sem 3 and continues till all the students are placed. It involves on-campus selection process consisting of Aptitude Test, Group Discussions on various topics and Personal Interviews. Indira is associated with more than 350 National and Multi-National Organizations.
In the year 2018 we had 350 companies who visited our campus and students were offered jobs in various profiles such as Investment Banking, Equity Research, Corporate Finance, Retail Management, Generalist HR, Training and Development, Recruitment and Selection and many more.
Average Package: 5-6 Lakhs.
This year 2019 we will have more than 350 companies who will be visiting campus for placements.

To get placed in the best of companies students need to be motivated, have the right attitude, have high energy levels, good communication skills, openness to accept different roles, basic knowledge should be very strong and desire to learn and take on responsibility should be high.
