A. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
Intake 240 Seats (1stand 2nd shift)
The PGDM Program offered in ISBS is approved by AICTE. This is two years full time Program comprising of four semesters. Students from various academic backgrounds are eligible for this Program. Hence, in the first semester of the program students are exposed to the various fundamental concepts of Management. Along with the various fundamental concepts of management the student is also given exposure in the areas of Accounting, Statistics and Quantitative techniques, Business Law, Communication skills, Economic environment of business.
At the end of the first year, the students are required to undertake project work assignment in an organization. The project assignment is intended to give the students an opportunity to sharpen their knowledge and skills in their selected Industry Sectors of Business and also serves as a stepping stone for their final career. The Project Work Assignment is of 60 days duration and a detailed project report of dissertation is submitted for full grade evaluation at the start of the second year. The course outline for PGDM Program follows a choice based credit system. Essentials in management are delivered through core courses. Electives in specialization core courses offer the student an opportunity to choose inputs to design their career by focusing on higher end inputs from the sector / functional combination. The course design provides students the opportunity to gradually build competencies in verticals such as Sales; Consultancy; Projects; Analytics or Market Research, by choosing the connected subjects. Continuous Evaluation of students forms an integral part of the curriculum. Forty percent of the evaluation is done on a continuous basis and sixty percent is devoted to semester end assessment.
B. Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Marketing (PGDM - Marketing)
(Intake 60 Seats)
PGDM - Marketing program is approved by AICTE and is a specialized two years course in Marketing. In the emerging environment, marketing management with its customer centric focus assumes a predominant status. This philosophy reflects in the PGDM - Marketing curriculum and the flexibility accorded to the program keeps the student abreast of the trends in the field of business and assures greater articulation of the same.
PGDM - Marketing curriculum prepares the students for the functional specialization in Marketing. In this program, besides general management input, students are offered sectorial specialization electives in terms of preparing them for career in sector verticals. The PGDM - Mkt students can specialize in function-sector combination through the electives offered. The sector electives offered are FMCG, IT & ITES, Agribusiness, Hospitality, Digital and Telecom Marketing.
For Both the Programs – PGDM – General and PGDM – Marketing

Indira Institute of Management (IIMP)
Course Offered : Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
Indira Institute of Management, Pune (IIMP) is the flagship institute of Indira Group Of Institutes. IIMP is the very first Management institute in Pune and the third in Maharashtra to be accredited by prestigious National Board of Accreditation of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi for its MBA program.
IIMP offers full time and AICTE approved PGDM Program. The entire program is split into four semesters including summer internship program of 2 months.
The course outline for PGDM follows a choice based credit system. Essentials in business management are delivered through core courses. In addition, students also get to choose Electives in different specialization areas. These elective courses enable the students to get exposed to sector and function specific inputs in sync with their career plans. The contemporary course syllabus and design comes handy for the students to gradually build their competence in various job verticals. Currently, the specializations are available in Marketing, Finance and Hospitality & tourism management (proposed from 2016).
In the pursuit of holistic development of future performers and creating well rounded value based individuals, IIMP has a robust pedagogy in place. Students’ class room learnings are based on case study discussion, Business Simulation, field based assignments, presentations and personal role plays etc. At the same time, there are plethora of other platforms like, outdoor management programs, Career and leadership development programs and other personality enhancement programs where in the inner persona gets chiseled into well rounded personalities.
In the age of globalization, to enhance the outlook of future managers in the global context, IIMP undertakes a structured overseas visit for the PGDM students, aptly called the International Campus Enrichment (ICE) Program. The ICE programs are one of the major attractions in the PGDM course and this is highly rated by the students. These overseas visits are mainly organized so as the students get not only international academic exposure but also understand the historical, cultural, social, political, geographical and importantly the economic aspects of these regions vis-à-vis world trade. The ICE program is organized in the month of Feb-march. The earlier batches have been to Singapore (2012) and UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in 2013).
To facilitate learning in a global context, IIMP has got fully WI-FI enabled campus and each student is given a laptop/tablet to leverage the goodness of technology based learning inside and outside the classrooms. This helps the students not only to prepare for the classroom sessions and assignments but also gives them an edge over others by making them acclimatized with the technology in the 21st century when they enter the corporate world.IIMP has been consistently acknowledged and recognized by various agencies for its creative approach for creating future global citizens.
